My name is Josie, and I’m the human behind Earth Studios.

After growing up on a Biodynamic farm in South Aus, doing boarding school and moving to the surf life in Margaret River - I became fascinated in what lifestyle brings out the best in me. Shaking off what I thought I should be doing - I quit engineering study and moved to Byron Bay, where I had some great years exploring this.

It became clear that we have the technology to improve life (be it lifestyle medicines, waste treatment options, fuel alternatives) but those means are not always accessible to the majority of people.

Now living in Sydney (yup moved to the big smoke!) I use photography // graphic design, and recently video, to bring brands with better solutions alive.

My approach is pretty straight forward.
I’m big on creative problem solving, and apply UX principles to test and improve the creative work until it’s ticking all the boxes. I also embed sustainability however possible, as I think consumers shouldn’t have to choose between being green and what they actually want. In the words of Marie Forleo, ‘everything is figureoutable.’
